Description
Long Sutton Golf Club is a privately owned parkland Golf Course set in the heart of South Somerset.Members, guests, golf societies and visitors are all assured of a warm and friendly welcome. Set in 118 acres, some 6352 yards in length, it is a par 71 course for men and par 72 for ladies.
The club has been under new management since August 2007. Since then the owners have embarked upon a series of improvements to upgrade the golf course and facilities to create an even more exciting golf experience.
The modern Club House offers an excellent Restaurant and bar service. In addition the club house has a number of conference rooms of various sizes. The function room can cater for up to 150 people which makes it a superb venue for large conferences, wedding receptions, social functions, discos and parties.
Well Stocked Golf Shop
A friendly welcome will greet you at the first port of call in the pro-shop The Pro Shop offers a wide range of golfing equipment and golf clothing.
There is a practice putting green in the front of the club house
Excellent Driving Range facilities
There is a 12 bay floodlit and covered driving range with automatic ball dispenser, open to members and visitors. Tokens are available from the pro-shop or at the bar if the pro-shop is closed.
Tuition Available
The Club has two very experienced teaching professionals for those wanting to improve their game.
Excellent Conference Facilities
Long Sutton Golf Club offers excellent conference facilities from a small board room through to a large function room. There is extensive free car parking available.
Equipment available for hire includes Digital and Over Head Projectors, TV/Video/ DVD players and Flip charts.
